Flash Fiction Month 2014, day 17.  Challenge:

  • Element ONE: Your story must have a theme of social justice. Look at the world (yes, this current world, no speculative fiction this time) around you, find something wrong with it, and write about it.
  • Element TWO: Your story must be serious in nature (I too think that the liquor license laws that prevent me from opening a bar in my living room are unfair, but this challenge is about finding something bigger). FFM isn't usually serious, but, you know, it's a CHALLENGE.
  • Element THREE: Your story must not use any first person pronouns (I, we, us, my, mine, our, ours, etc).
